The UIC School of Theatre and Music website was a three year project. The objective of the project was to complete a website that supports student recruitment efforts. I led the project and worked with award-winning design studios Norml and Hour studio, esteemed UIC design faculty Cheryl Towler Weese, web-developer Daniel Miller and UIC School of Theatre and Music staff and faculty.

What’s New

The new website has new navigation tools designed to give prospective students clear calls to action and the most current information about the degree programs. Search and filter functions provide users with the ability to find resources quickly. The new calendar layout allows users to explore new and past events at a glance.

Professional Production

With a team of videographers and photographers I produced interactive videos and images to give prospective students a sample of student life, ensembles, productions and our collaborative student faculty culture.

The website was tested for quality assurance throughout summer of 2022 and was launched on September 7, 2022.

Post-launch tasks

• Redirection of old or broken links to the new website

• Tagging the new website for Google Analytics

• Feeding new content to university departments’ websites (CADA)

• Search Engine Optimization

• Training videos on new Content Management System
